A-47 Tuesday Afternoon Pottery
If you have always wanted to try the wheel, hand build, or need a refresher, this 6 week, 12-hour class is for you. Students will create various clay projects of their own choice in a relaxed studio with personal attention.
Tuesdays 1/28 -3/10, no class 3/3 1-3pm,
Ages 16-Adult

A-58 Watercolor Basics
Always wanted to try your hand at watercolor painting but don't know how to begin? This 6 week class will take through the basics of what supplies you will need, what painting techniques are unique to watercolor and the step by step process of completing watercolor paintings.
Wednesdays 2/5-3/11, 10am-12pm, 14-Adult

WS-54a Shibori: Silk Scarf Dyeing - Advanced Techniques Shibori is the art of folding, twisting and clamping cloth before dyeing to create intricate patterns; advanced techniques use needles and thread to sew and bind the silk scarves.
All materials included for 2 scarves.
Saturday 2/1, 1-5pm, Adult

WS-04 Pysanky: Ukrainian Easter Eggs
In anticipation of Spring & Easter, Pysanky are a tradition in Eastern Europe. This batik method of applying layers of beeswax & egg dye creates intricate & beautiful designs. Create up to 4 eggs in this workshop depending on the intricacy & learn about the symbolism of the designs and colors. Saturday 2/22 OR 3/7, 1-4pm, 10-Adult

Well, do you like them? We have a volunteer opportunity coming up if you are an animal lover! No-we're not going to ask you to clean stalls....those little cuties are residents of the Pigsburgh Squealers Rescue! - one of our rescues we are supporting as part of our annual Art for Animals Art Show in March. If you'd like to volunteer to help put this show together-please email the office and we will put you in touch with the chairpersons. Thank you! And the pigs thank you. And the bullys too.
