NEWS EVENT
Hundreds of Connecticut residents are boarding buses on Thursday and early Friday morning to demand an end to abortion in Washington DC this Friday. Activists are energized by President Trump’s diverting taxpayer dollars from abortion giant Planned Parenthood, towards community based health centers specializing in women's health.
This year's March for Life is attracting pro-life activists who are educating peers on human trafficking, volunteering at pregnancy centers, and calling for change in a state with the most liberal abortion laws in the nation. We invite reporters to see #WhyWeMarch and how local residents are inspired by this year's March to take action here at home.
Facts:
- 75% of abortions in Connecticut are paid for by taxpayers.
- As human trafficking exposes teenagers to sexual exploitation, Connecticut is one of only six states nationwide where victims can obtain an abortion without their parent’s knowledge.
