Hey all!

It's been a while since I've done an email update but I'm finally back home and able to get a little more regular on site updates.

This time around I'm highlighting a set of 6 posts I did covering my time in Thailand in November and December 2019 when I went out to get my scuba Divemaster certification.

Great Wall of China Toboggan, Arrival & The First Week


Traveling out to Thailand with a quick side trip to the Great Wall of China! Followed by settling in at Khao Lak and getting in some initial diving in the Similan Islands before starting my course proper.

Dive Guiding The Boonsung Wreck From A Long-Tail Boat


While I spent the most time out in the Similan Islands I did get an opportunity to assist my mentor on a day out on a local wreck known for so many fish that it's referred to as a fish soup dive. And to get out there we took a small long tail boat that we had to wade out to with all the gear!

Working The Similan Islands & Koh Bon Via Liveaboard


The main attraction of doing my DMT out here was of course the Similan Islands and the liveaboard that the dive shop operated. Here's how things typically went while onboad.

Diving Richelieu Rock Khao Lak Thailand


Richelieu has the well deserved reputation for being the best dive in the area and just as I was wrapping up my DM I had the opportunity to go out and dive it!

Looking Back & Lessons Learned
