The first professional learning activity for 2020 is a webinar.
This webinar is titled: Preparing the school library annual report and will be held via GoToWebinar on Tuesday 25 February 2020 at 8.00pm AESDT.
We are very pleased to announce that Deborah Brown, Manager, Library and Information Science at Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, North Sydney NSW is our speaker for the webinar.
This one hour, online seminar is for primary and secondary teacher librarians and others who are responsible for school library services and/or involved in learning and teaching programs.
Teacher librarians who are successful as leaders in their schools know that importance of preparing and submitting an annual report. What to include in an annual report and how to gather the evidence is critical to promoting the goals and achievements for the year. How the annual report is presented is crucial to the key stakeholders’ understandings.
Please note this activity is linked to the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers:
- Standard 2: Know the content and how to teach it with the specific focus on 2.3 Curriculum, assessment and reporting
- Standard 3 Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning with the specific focus on 3.6 Evaluate and improve teaching programs
