New Year’s resolutions are a great way to create a buzz of positive change. I hope the new year and decade will encourage you to dream big and make a difference. Like any big goal or dream, if you start by breaking it down into smaller tasks, you will be able to tackle enough of the small actions to get started! There is so much to accomplish in 2020. I love Dr. Martin Luther King’s saying, “If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way.” I am happy to share my 2020 goals with you. Stay tuned, I will be updating my progress with you one goal at a time. Make 2020 unBEElievable by following your dreams. #NoLimit #BeeMore
Strive to Bee Healthy
With the start of the new year comes new chances to focus on health and positive change. Sugar awareness week is here, starting January 20th. The week was created by Action on Sugar, a group of specialists dedicated to raising awareness of the harmful effects consuming too much sugar can have on our bodies. Me & the Bees supports this week and, as of May 2019, we reduced the grams of sugar and calories in all four of our lemonades. Now you can enjoy the same great tasting lemonade with 25% less sugar and 33% fewer calories.
Our award-winning lemonade now has around 14 grams of sugar/serving and uses simple ingredients, with no high-fructose corn syrup, preservatives, or artificial colors or sweeteners. Enjoy Me & the Bees Lemonade healthier beverage alternative.
January has been a tough start to the year for Australia and the extreme wildfires the country has experienced. Sadly, experts say over 1 billion animals have died from the fires. The air thick with smoke, flowers drying out, and lack of rain has devastated the honeybee population. That’s why my Foundation, the Healthy Hive Foundation, has teamed up with San Francisco State University to research how plant-pollinator networks change in the years following a wildfire. I hope I can continue to learn/share even more about the bees and shed more light on the significance of this research. Stay Tuned!

She started a business that went from a single lemonade stand to the shelves of 1,500 supermarkets across the country. She walked off Shark Tank with a $60,000 investment and Daymond John as a mentor. She speaks at business conferences all across the world—this year alone she presented in Budapest and Singapore. And she’s celebrating 10 years in business. The kicker? This teen entrepreneur is only barely old enough for a learner’s permit.
