Recap on the JPM healthcare conference
As we mentioned in the last newsletter, we trekked out to San Francisco last week for the JPM healthcare conference. As expected, it was a busy time with back-to-back meetings and shoulder-to-shoulder events.
Two main themes that were emphasized there included:
- Industry transparency
- The digital front door
Bringing transparency to the cost & quality of healthcare services while engaging with patients digitally before they even come into the pharmacy/clinic/hospital are both important. It could foster better patient-provider relationships and drive improved health outcomes.
We saw these themes reoccurring in our research process throughout the year, and it was not surprising to see them be surfaced there, as well. Keep a look out for our upcoming research that will touch many of these different areas of disruption.
Stay healthy,
