Roaring 20's!
The new year comes with new and exciting IDG announcements: An upcoming IDG meeting at UNC, Chapel Hill in May; Listing of IDG resources; Suggestions of IDG websites to visit.

IDG Outreach meeting at UNC, Chapel Hill

Come and hear the latest research on understudied or orphan kinases, ion channels and GPCRs!  IDG members at UNC will host an evening Plenary Session on May 4th with a presentation from Dr. Alexandra Newton, UCSD. Then on May 5th, speakers from IDG, UNC and Duke University will illuminate us with their discoveries in a day-long symposium

IDG Developed Resources

Understudied targets are becoming more and more illuminated by our IDG members.  And as a result, new resources have been made available for the scientific community to further research the frontiers of the Druggable Genome. This list of resources include small molecules, NanoBRET tools, kits, genetic constructs, mouse strains and cells.

List of IDG resources can be found HERE.

IDG sites to investigate

Visit the IMPC's IDG site highlighting their production of embryonic stem cells and mouse strains along with phenotyping data for IDG target genes.

Visit the DruggableGenome IDG Youtube channel and listen to Dr. Shawn Gomez's talk entitled "Illuminating Functions of the Understudied Druggable Kinome" highlighting their work at the DRGC-Kinase group.
