MATADOR MARKET
We would like to try putting on a small farmer's type market this summer on the band marching field. This is very important in regards to fundraising for next year's budget since it has the potential of eliminating the need for fundraisers during the busy marching season and finals week. In order to make this happen a committee needs to be formed and acted on right away. Please contact Carol Orona at
president@sandiabandboosters.org to volunteer, or come to the next Board Meeting this Monday, January 27 at 5:30pm in the band room.
BOARD POSITIONS FOR 2020-2021
We have now reached critical mass in looking toward the next school year. It is imperative that we have parents NOW to step up and assume the following band booster positions, all in an elect status for this semester, assuming the role starting June, 2020: President; Vice-President; Travel Account Treasurer, and Newsletter Editor. Anyone assuming these roles needs to be shadowing our current officers now! Planning for next year should begin very soon, and there is a fair amount of activity that needs to take place throughout the summer. This includes developing the 2020-2021 budget. Please, please step up. Having two people assume co-presidency would be very doable. If we don't have these officers we will be unable to continue a booster organization.
We also need people to begin shadowing committee chairs: Uniform (need a minimum of two people;) Pizza Under the Stars; and Craft Fair Cafe Ole. All of the current chairs are headed into their senior year!
WINTER GUARD FEES ARE DUE - Please submit payment to the band room safe as soon as possible. If you have already paid the dues, thank you!
