The universe itself vibes light and Joy, and that is your very essence. - Debbie Rosas, Co-Founder of Nia
Aloha <<First Name>>,
Nia leads us straight to the heart of Deep Joy, our theme for 2020 at Still & Moving Center. As I marvel at how my life has changed since I met Nia 18 years ago this month, at how much Joy has taught me. I've learned that it's more than OK for me to experience Joy in this world fraught with struggle and saddness. As a caring person, I am so much more able to feel others' pain, express empathy, and compassionately find ways to address it...BECAUSE my heart has be cracked open by the Joy... through dancing and studying Nia.
Whether you're coming from across the street or from around the world, we love seeing you in our classes, workshops and trainings. And if your experience is anything like mine, I know it's bringing you more light, more health, more expressivity and companionship with others.

Let's shine on, dancing through life!

We dedicate this dance to love, since the Valentine season celebrates love. “Love” consists of far more than romance. As we know from the word aloha, love also consists of patience, dedication, unity and humility, so we can open our hearts to dance many aspects of love. We can celebrate the heart’s noble feelings of compassion, happiness, joy, inner truth and of course romantic love, and - above all - universal love. View Full Details »
