Pittsburgh Interfaith Impact Network
 

The Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network (PIIN) is a network of congregations and organizations in Southwestern Pennsylvania committed to drawing together people of faith to act powerfully on local and regional issues of justice and fairness. Through the processes of community-building, working with politicians and policy makers, direct action, and negotiation, we transform our communities.

PIIN is also an affiliate of the Gamaliel Network, a international network of more than 60 local and regional congregation-based organizing groups.

The Pittsburgh Racial Justice Summit is a two-part event. The Opening Ceremony is on Friday night at Union Project, and the Summit is a full day of workshops on Saturday.

Each week during the worship service, AUUC hosts a collection for the Northside Food Pantry at Northside Common Ministries. Don't forget to bring your items on Sunday!

Food Pantry Brunch Challenge
Presented by the Northside Common Ministries Food Pantry

January 25 I 11AM - 1PM
Sample amazing food created by 10 local chefs, enjoy the Caribbean sounds of a live 14 piece band, and support the work of the largest Food Pantry in the region. Northside Common Ministries Food Pantry currently distributes over 32,000 pounds of free fresh produce and other food to over 800 food-insecure households each month.

UPCOMING EVENTS
 

A Winter Alternative Break group from the University of Kansas stayed at Unitarian House over January 12-18 and volunteered at Gwen's Girls. Groups from Vanderbilt University, the University of Delaware, and University of Pennsylvania are scheduled in the Spring. More at alleghenyuu.org. We are honored to support these programs, which have a big impact on our greater community!

Mindfulness & Stress Management

Free workshop every Tuesday at Unitarian House, 12-1pm. RSVPs appreciated, not required. Led by Dr. Richard King. For more info email Dr. King.
