Good Afternoon!

Social media brings us entertainment, connects us with new and old friends, and provides information about the world around us. Talk about a crazy connection and the power of social media! I actually made a friend on Facebook a few years ago who led me to buy her horse’s full brother! If you’re a regular on Facebook, Instagram, or another social media app, then you are no stranger to posts about a promotion, flawless selfies, or incredible vacations.

Liking and commenting on these posts can be a fun way to spend time, but many people take their social media presence too seriously and try to appear “perfect” at all times.

In this week’s blog, ““Perfection” on Social Media Does Not Make You Perfect,” Rice Psychology Group will explain why trying to be “perfect” to appease others on social media is not healthy and what you can do to limit your use and avoid the need to be flawless.

Let’s Make a Change Together!
If you or a loved one is having issues related to social media, our team of psychologists is here to listen and to help. We will provide a comfortable, judgment-free setting where you can tell us what’s on your mind. Contact us in Tampa today for more information about our services.
