One of the many things that makes living in Park City great is the plethora of wonderful restaurants. With the President’s Day holiday on the horizon and the busy March spring skiing season, here are some insider tips on where to dine, which wait staff to request, and more importantly, our reminder to you to make your reservations early!

This information should be very helpful in planning your meals. Most of these eateries use the Open Table app for reservations; if not, be sure to call far in advance. Bon Appetit!
Make sure you read all the way to the bottom for a little tip in case you overindulge!

One of our Main Street favorites is Tupelo. We love their unique menu and comforting ambiance. The deviled eggs are truly amazing!
Shabu has consistently turned out great “Freestyle Asian Cuisine” for years. Order the Caramelized Black Cod (miso) and Firecracker Shrimp, and ask for Natalie if she’s working. She’s a top-notch professional with many years here.
The Riverhorse is a Park City classic for those looking for dining sans children.The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable. As one of Park City’s most popular eateries, reservations should be made far in advance.

For those loving gourmet Tex Mex, there’s no better spot than Chimayo. Part of the Bill White restaurant dynasty, Chimayo offers incredible ambiance. Julie is likely to be your hostess, and she knows everything! For your server, request Michael Court, he’s been on the wait staff forever and always has great suggestions based on your family’s preferences.
Handle on Swede Alley offers the finest vegan and gluten free options, and their full menu is outstanding.

Versante located inside the Peaks Hotel offers a fun, casual vibe, lots of lights, doesn’t require reservations, and their diverse menu changes periodically to keep you coming back. This is a fun spot for the whole family or your large group. Staunch NY pizza fans will be pleasantly surprised with the offerings here. Start with the grilled Brussel sprouts and bacon!

Blind Dog is another local favorite. Besides their devotion to “all things dog related” (and we’re huge dog lovers in this town!), they are centrally located off Kearns Boulevard (Hwy 248) with convenient valet parking. Sit at the bar, have Ryan the bartender take care of you, and order the Thai crunch salad, ahi nachos, or any sushi on the menu!

Sharing the same parking lot as Blind Dog is the newly expanded Boneyard and Wine Dive compound. Both have a loyal following, offering more of a “happening bar” type vibe with good, reasonably priced food and high energy music.
Cortona's Italian Cafe in Kimball Junction, is a tiny restaurant offering delicious Italian food and excellent service with reasonable prices. Don’t let the simple décor fool you! Reservations are mandatory during ski season.

For lunch, the Rojo Shrimp Tacos at Five5eeds (see photo) are out of this world! Check out their amazing coffee bar and revel in their AMAZING, diverse, and unique menu. But do be aware that it's a local favorite and you may have a wait at peak times!
Adolph's Restaurant is another legendary Park City restaurant, and Adolph still cooks most nights. The ski-focused vibe of the décor pays homage to alpine skiing, and classics such as raclette, escargots, and several delicious veal options are standards. The regulars at the bar will provide lots of colorful stories, given the chance! Mary is a great waitress who has been there since the beginning, and Leslie Thatcher from KPCW might just be your hostess.

Ganesh (see photo) is an Indian gem in Prospector Square close to the Sheraton Hotel (formerly Marriott) and off the beaten path. It’s quiet and easy to get into with great, authentic food at great prices!
Thai So Good at Kimball Junction in the Redstone area, offers excellent Thai, ample seating and plenty of parking.

Reef's Restaurant is located within the Deer Valley Club in Silver Lake Village at Deer Valley. This unique dining experience offers Mediterranean & Middle Eastern cuisine made from sustainable ingredients.

For healthy fare, Vessel Kitchen (see photo) in Redstone at Kimball offers a delicious array of options, including vegetarian and vegan. They also sell Red Bicycle baguettes (lovingly called Crack Bread!)
Ghidottis, in the Redstone shopping complex, has an awesome weekday takeout deal for a family of four for a meal in your home or ski condominium.
Szechwan Kitchen or Full House in Kimball Junction both offer great Chinese takeout.

BEST STEAK
Ruth's Chris in Hotel Park City is a popular steak destination and we love it because you can order everything on the dinner menu in the bar, which offers comforting ambiance. On Main Street, Prime Steak House is your best bet. It’s a bit expensive, yet worth it.

BEST BURGER
This is a toss-up. The No Name on Main Street is famous for their burger, but we can't seem to get enough of the burger at Twisted Fern Bistro (see photo above) in the Snow Creek shopping center, located near the liquor store.

|
BEST EXPERIENCE
The piano bar at Prime Steakhouse is a wonderful option to enjoy dinner with incredibly talented musicians. For a truly memorable experience, enjoy the sleigh ride up to the Viking Dinner Yurt (see photo above) at Park City Mountain. Similarly, Fireside Dining at Empire Pass in Deer Valley is such a unique offering; a true Austrian gastronomical experience. You’ll remember the fondue!

BEST FOR A BIG GROUP
Ghidottis at Redstone is great for big groups as they offer very large tables, plenty of room, and a back seating section offering more privacy/quiet. Their takeout deals for families of four are excellent!

BEST PRIVATE CHEF
Jenna McGregor is a talented private chef with a broad menu and years of experience - (201.215.8808 or
chefjennamcgregor@yahoo.com). For in-home sushi, Paul Munarriz is your chef (435.659.1570). His skills and presentation are stellar, and he’s an engaging conversationalist.

Midway Mercantile (see photo) in the heart of Midway offers flown-in-fresh seafood (the owner/chef hails from Seattle) and a diverse menu. There’s also a bar in the back with excellent pub fare. Ask for Jenna as your waitress, and don’t be surprised if the chef/co-owner John Platt delivers your food and stops by to say hello.
Back 40 Grill is a happening restaurant at the gateway to the Heber Valley. They offer a big menu, a sports focused bar area, a cozy yurt area, and fabulous views of Mt. Timpanogos.

Windya’s Place, on Main Street in Heber, is a small, comfortable restaurant with delicious, affordable Asian cuisine that the kids will love, too.

PARK CITY RESORT
Lookout Cabin (see photo), on the Canyons side of Park City at the mid-station on the Orange Bubble Express lift, is fantastic. The food is incredible, and their Bloody Mary is legendary. Best of all, the views of Iron Mountain and Square Top peaks are unsurpassed. If you can snag a table outside on a bluebird day, you will understand why we love this spot so much. Reservations are mandatory.

Also on the Canyons side is the Tombstone Grill, located at the base of the Tombstone six-pack lift. You can’t go wrong with either the grilled BBQ sandwich or the pulled pork sandwich. Likewise, both the chili fries and the donuts at Cloud Dine in the Colony area, where Dreamscape and Dreamcatcher lifts intersect, are skiers’ favorites!

DEER VALLEY
Deer Valley™ Resort elevates on-mountain dining to peak levels, so anywhere you dine on-mountain will be delectable. The day lodges offer the best salad bars anywhere, the turkey chili is infamous, and the chocolate cookie is worth every calorie. The Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge and Goldener Hirsch in Silver Lake Village are both European classics with excellent menus and service. Plan to dine at either at the end of your ski day!

For dinner, the Mariposa (see photo above) is highly rated, and the Seafood Buffet at Deer Valley is something everyone must try at least once. There’s nothing like it!

APRÈS SKI
On-mountain après ski can be challenging due to the logistics of getting safely back to your car... so plan ahead, and spend an afternoon at Stein Eriksen Lodge at Deer Valley™ Resort. In Old Town, and on the bus and Uber/Lyft routes, is High West Distillery (see photo). Famous for their locally distilled spirits and award-winning cocktails, you’ll find a great selection of appetizers and a truly happening scene with great swag to bring home as gifts.

|
SKIERS BREAKFAST
For an early start to your day, both Bridge Café and Grill and Harvest near the Town Lift to Park City Mountain Resort, are great options, so you can hop on the lift straight away. Bridge Café opens at 8 am and offers all day breakfast until 5:30 pm. Their “5 Ingredient” Brazuca omelets earn high marks. Harvest is open 8:00 am – 3 pm and is renowned for their excellent Australian coffee and healthy artful plates and smoothies.

|
Five5eeds, in Snow Park Plaza, offers a unique array of breakfast options and healthy bowls, with excellent coffee and service. This spot is hugely popular, so arrive as early as possible to grab a table. Squatters, at the junction of Kearns Blvd (Hwy 248) and Park Avenue, offers breakfast classics and is a great value with fast service. If Woodward Park City is part of your day's plans, stop into Breakfast at Dana’s, at Quarry Junction next to Billy Blanco’s. Stein Eriksen Lodge at Silver Lake in Deer Valley offers an extensive Skier’s Buffet weekdays, but be warned... It’s so hearty you might find it hard to hit the slopes afterwards.

QUICK BREAKFAST
Grab something to go at The Market at Snow Creek Plaza (and pick up your Red Bicycle Bread for later), or stop by Wasatch Bagels in the same plaza. On upper Main Street, Riverhorse Provisions offers a great selection of quick nibbles and egg sandwiches. Closer to the center of town, try Bandanna’s Bar & Grill at the back side of Hotel Park City by the Nordic Center/Yurt.

In Kimball Junction, Park City Coffee Roasters offers a nice array of Danish and egg burritos; be sure to grab a pound of locally roasted beans too.

|
BRUNCH
Brunch is often a perfect option for your Sunday travels or day of rest. The Glitretind, at Stein Eriksen Lodge, offers a legendary brunch from 11 am – 2:30 pm, with Bloody Mary’s and mimosas available at noon. Destination brunches include the Back 40 in Heber, the Blue Boar Inn by Wasatch State Park in Midway, and The Foundry Grill (see photo) at Sundance Resort.

Another worthy journey is to venture to Blue Sky Ranch in Wanship for High West Distillery’s all-inclusive, fixed price brunch on Sundays from 10:45 am – 4:00 pm. We recommend you designate a driver so the rest of your party can indulge in their Whiskey flights, mimosas and award-winning High West cocktails.
