Renovation complete! Over the last couple weeks we have been able to do some great work around the place under God's grace. There are still some rooms that need to be unpacked, but the majority is done. Come and check out the new space, if you haven't already.

Member call to action
Since we do still have some work to do to bring our project to a full completion, any member interested in helping out in the morning is welcome. Come by and pitch in a helping hand. Moving furniture, unpacking books, sorting, filing, cleaning. It's all going to be happening Saturday morning, till noon.
Annual Chili Cookoff
Annual Chili Cook-off is tomorrow! During fellowship time we will get to try a number of chilis, rank them, vote for them, and enjoy them. You can still bring your own special recipes with a pot to feed at least 10-12. Chili will be judged on flavor, feeling, and fire. All kinds of chili welcome. Be ready for a fun time and save some room for the Tums.

New Special Needs Ministry starting
On Thursday February 6th at 6:30 pm Risen Savior begins a very important ministry. We are starting Jesus Cares Ministry and Worship at the Cross. This is worship designed for special needs individuals. It will be highly visual, interactive, and focused on the gospel. If you know of someone who might benefit from this service please let us know and join us on February 6th at 6:30 pm.

Bible study on Sundays
New Bible study starting on the book of Romans in January. In the Preface which Martin Luther wrote for the Epistle to the Romans, Luther said about Romans, "This epistle is really the chief part of the New Testament, and is truly the purest gospel. It is worthy not only that every Christian should know it word for word, by heart, but also that he should occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul. We can never read it or ponder over it too much; for the more we deal with it, the more precious it becomes and the better it tastes.” So we will take up a study of the first eight chapters of the book, reading it, pondering it, and dealing with it so it becomes precious to us. Sundays at 9:00 am.
Gathering Grounds Fellowship
Gathering Grounds Fellowship is a group designed for seniors and those winter visitors we have in the area. All are welcome though to come out for devotion, fellowship, and some coffee and dessert. We will start meeting Wednesday January 22 at 10:30 am at church. Come and join!
