2020-2021 Tuition

Every school year around mid-year, the Board and Administration prayerfully discuss and establish the tuition schedule for the subsequent year. The board makes every possible effort to ensure that any potential increase is kept to a minimum. As soon as 2020-2021 tuition levels are available, those numbers will be presented to the PVCP community.
Are you looking for a great way to connect with fellow PVCP families this spring? Then consider joining us for one of two incredible community events! Community events are a great way to fellowship with other PVCP families while supporting the school at the same time. To secure your spot at either event, simply bring payment to Kris Chadwick at the front desk. We hope to see you there!
Cornhole Tournament: February 21

Spend the evening challenging fellow PVCP students and parents to a friendly game of cornhole! This event is hosted by Brad and Manda Leach and Aaron and Tracy Greeley on February 21, 2020. Work your way through the bracket to reach the championship game. The cost is $50 per team (two players), and it includes dinner for participating teams, an awesome prize and the first annual trophy! Event is open to middle school students and up, but middle school students MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Girls and Ladies Tea: April 5, 2 p.m.

You are cordially invited to a ladies high tea in the garden! This event is open to all women - students and moms, grandmas and friends. The event will be hosted at the McPherson house by Noemi McPherson and Becky Lindblade. Fine teas will be brewed and delicate finger sandwiches shall be enjoyed. Please join us for a relaxing afternoon of fellowship with new and old friends on Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. The cost is $25 per attendee.

Upper School Career Fair

The Annual PVCP Career Fair will be held on Thursday, February 13, from 7:45 to 10:30 a.m. in the Fraley Center. Upper School students will be participating in this unique event to expose them to a more in-depth understanding of various careers. They will have the opportunity to have discussions with speakers representing nearly 20 professional careers. In the past, this program has greatly helped our students target their future. Please make every effort to have your child at the school on time. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer as a presenter, please contact Julia Levene at
jlevene@associationplannerpartners.com.

Substitute Teachers Needed

PVCP is in need of substitute teachers. If you or someone you know has a college degree and is interested, please contact Mrs. Rodriguez at rrodriguez@pvcp.org.

Upper School Dual
Enrollment Registrations

The spring registration period for dual enrollment through Colorado Christian University is now open. Three courses are eligible for registration this spring: British Literature II (ENG 205), Calculus II (MAT 241), and Economics (ECO 215).

Please note, the content in PVCP's British Literature course and Calculus course is so comprehensive that each represents two courses at CCU. If your student registered for British Literature I or Calculus I in the fall, he or she may also register again this spring to receive three additional credits in each class. Moreover, CCU has informed us that British Literature I and Calculus I are NOT prerequisites for British Literature II an Calculus II; your student may sign up for the second semester, even if he or she did not sign up for the first section in the fall.

You may view the spring registration process by clicking on this attachment. While the document indicates you may register until April 15, we are requesting that interested PVCP students register by February 17.

Tax Credit Reminder

Even though December 31 has come and gone, it's not too late to make a contribution to an approved STO to receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit when filing your 2019 taxes. Arizona law gives you until April 15 to make a contribution, which means you can determine how much you owe the State of Arizona and simply redirect that money to support Christian education. We strongly encourage all of our families to consider making a contribution to APSTO, an STO started by friends of PVCP and responsible for over $300,000 in direct contributions to PVCP since its inception, in order to reduce your Arizona tax liability.

If you have any questions about how to make a contribution, please don't hesitate to contact Dorina Wilson, PVCP's liaison with APSTO, at dwilson@pvcp.org.

Grandparents & Grandfriends Day

We would love to honor your child's grandparents or grandfriends on Friday, February 14, from 8:15 to 10:45 a.m. We truly appreciate the importance that grandparents and grandfriends play in the lives of a young person. Festivities begin in the Fraley Center with registration, refreshments, and class presentations. Individual classroom visits will follow. Please feel free to share this invitation with your grandparents and grandfriends, and contact the school office at 602-992-8140 with any questions.
