We're pleased to offer a collection of high scoring Washington State wines from Corliss and Figgins.

The team at Corliss continues to knock it out of the park and they produce serious, rich and pedal-to-the-metal efforts that stay classy and gorgeously drinkable. They need to be on every reader’s short list.” -The Wine Advocate

Chris Figgins is responsible for many of the finest Washington State wines that really put the region on the map, made at Leonetti.

With great reviews across the board and all priced at under $100 per bottle, these wines provide an incredible source of value.

All wines are in stock and available now.

Corliss Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
6 bottles available; $85 per bottle
95 points Wine Advocate: "More perfumed and lively aromatically, yet more firm and backwards on the palate, the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is a knockout 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 30 months in 70% new French oak. Classically styled, with black currants, toasty oak, violets, licorice and background meatiness, it is a full-bodied, structured and age-worthy 2008 that will evolve gracefully for 15+ years. It improves over the evening but should ideally be given another handful of years in the cellar. Drink now-2028+."

Corliss Red Blend 2008
6 bottles available; $70 per bottle
94+ points Wine Advocate: "Just about as good, the Bordeaux blend 2008 Corliss (formerly reviewed as Red Wine) is comprised of 34% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec that spent 30 months in 65% new French oak. Almost a meal on its own, it has full, rich aromas and flavors of currants, smoked herbs, milk chocolate and potpourri to go with a full-bodied, beautifully textured and balanced palate. Youthfully structured and tannic, it needs another 1-2 years of bottle age and will keep for 10-15 years. Drink 2015-2023."

Corliss Red Wine 2009
18 bottles available; $70 per bottle
94 points Wine Advocate: "The 2009 Red Wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec. It exhibits up-front, ripe aromas and flavors of black raspberry, chocolate ganache, black currants, lead pencil and toast to go with full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. More rounded, up-front and approachable than the straight Cabernet release, it’s a sexy, hard-to-resist red to enjoy over the coming decade or more."

Corliss Red Wine 2010
12 bottles available; $70 per bottle
94+ points Wine Advocate: "A big, rich and stacked effort, Corliss’s 2010 Columbia Valley Red Wine (made as a Red Mountain AVA wine in this vintage) has awesome density and concentration to go with ripe notes of cassis, black cherries, smoked earth and crushed rocks. There’s a lot of fruit here (surprising in the vintage), but it shows more and more tannic grip and underlying structure with time in the glass. Seeing 30 months in new and used French oak, it has the texture and polish to drink beautifully today, but I think it will be even better with short-term cellaring, and have upward of two decades of overall longevity."

Corliss Red Wine 2011
12 bottles available; $70 per bottle
94+ points Vinous: "Aromas of cassis, blueberry and licorice are lifted by exotic spices. Outstanding energy leavens the sexy sweetness of this sappy, firmly structured midweight, with intense dark fruit flavors lifted by a violet element. Taut and backward like a topnotch young claret, showing a youthfully tight grain. Finishes long and energetic, with firm but sweet tannins and strong graphite minerality. Clearly the finest vintage to date for this bottling, which will not be released until the fall of 2016 and should evolve positively through the 2020s."

Corliss Syrah 2010
2 bottles available; $70 per bottle
96 points Wine Advocate: "Looking first at the Syrah, the 2010 Syrah Columbia Valley sports an inky purple/black color to go with knockout aromas and flavors of smoked meats, black currants, crushed rock and graphite. Deep, dark and layered, with fabulous concentration, this full-bodied effort flows onto the palate with a voluptuous textured, notable freshness and fine tannin that focuses the finish beautifully. It will evolve gracefully for over two decades."
Figgins Estate Red Wine 2009
10 bottles available; $90 per bottle
96 points Wine Advocate: "Bottled in July of last year and comprising a roughly 60-40 Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot blend (Petit Verdot didn’t make the cut this year due to the late frost), Figgins’ 2009 Estate Red is stunningly scented with perfumed essence of iris and violet as well as ripe dark berries and high-toned, resinous green herbs and geranium. The effect is like Merlot contributing Chartreuse liqueur! (Is this a sweet spot to plant that grape or what?) The palate combination of seamless high ripeness and satiny polish with levity, billowing inner-mouth florality and sheer energy is utterly uncanny, and the finish is so juicy you’ll need a napkin. If you’ve visited the site, it’s hard not to imagine its airy openness reflected here in liquid form. And this is a libation you’re likely to desire following for at least the next dozen years. (And perhaps its tannins will become more evident in the mid term.)"

Figgins Estate Red Wine 2010
10 bottles available; $90 per bottle
97 points Wine Advocate: "On another level, the 2010 Estate Red Wine is something to behold! A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon – yet with smaller portions of Merlot and Petit Verdot – aged in 75% new and 25% 1-year-old French oak barrels for 20 months, it has a decidedly dark fruit profile with Pauillac-like aromas of black raspberry, creme de cassis, coffee bean, graphite, mineral and toasted bread all emerging from the glass. Deep, rich and layered, with a full-bodied, concentrated and structured feel on the palate, it fleshes out beautifully with air and is up there with the creme de la creme of the vintage and region. It needs 2-3 years of bottle age (or more) and will have 20-25 years of evolution. Drink 2016-2035. Coming from an estate vineyard that’s located on the eastern edge of the Walla Walla Valley, off of Mill Creek Road and at an elevation of roughly 1,750 feet, these wines are made by Chris Figgins (of Leonetti) and show classic profiles. As the score suggests, this is one producer not to miss!"

Figgins Estate Red Wine 2011
5 bottles available; $75 per bottle
93+ points Vinous: "Bright, dark ruby-red. Pure, complex aromas of cassis, black cherry, bitter chocolate, mint, minerals, licorice and spicy oak. Sweeter and lusher than the Leonetti Reserve blend I tasted before it but less complex today--and at the same time tight, backward and dominated today by its structure. The tannins are huge but still a bit less tough than those of the Leonetti Reserve, and the wine’s inherent sweetness shows through on the very long aftertaste. From a cool site in a very cool year: Chris Figgins currently prefers the 2010 version."

Figgins Estate Red Wine 2012
10 bottles available; $90 per bottle
96+ points Wine Advocate: "The Figgins 2012 Estate Red Wine is flat-out knockout stuff. Layered, gorgeously concentrated, full-bodied, and balanced, this Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blend gives up sensational notes of cassis, black raspberry toasted bread and sweet spice on the nose. Ultra-pure, elegant and silky, it has the texture to drink nicely today, yet will age effortlessly for two decades or more. Coming from the higher elevation, eastern edge of Walla Walla (1500-1750 feet above sea level), it spent 22 months in 70% new French oak and 30% in once used barrels. This is one of the top Cabernets coming out of Washington and readers should not miss it."
