Dear <<First Name (required)>>

A very Happy New Year to you.

Our Annual Review is now available, and this celebrates our 10 years as a charity. You can read the report here

The accounts for 2018-19 are also available on the Charity Commission website.

Ann Dickinson, a long-standing Trustee has decided to stand down due to her husband’s health. She has made an amazing contribution over the years starting with organising ‘Ramble for Robbo’ to raise funds for MHRUK in memory of Mark Robinson. This was our first big fundraising event. Since then she has attracted the veterinary profession’s support for MHRUK, and every year mobilises support for Blooming Monday. We thank her for making a real difference to mental health research through her work with MHRUK.

We are pleased to announce the next round of PhD Scholarships.

Mental Health Research UK PhD Scholarships 2021

Three scholarships are available to start Autumn 2021.

Applications are welcomed in the following areas:
  1. The John Grace QC Scholarship 2021. Schizophrenia, and in particular its positive symptoms.
  2. Eating Disorders in young people.
  3. Psychological trauma: understanding risk, building resilience.

We are particularly interested in supporting research in these areas that uses, or develops, innovative approaches to data collection or analysis. Information will be on the website by the end of January including closing dates and application forms. We have been really impressed by the high quality of the applications that we get. If you’re interested in applying for a scholarship,
please read the instructions on the web site carefully.

Best wishes
