2020 Listening Campaign
Twenty-one years ago, the Task Force was birthed out of the Mayor's office as an information-sharing space. At our last gathering on Dec. 10, Melissa and Beth shared their vision of conducting a listening campaign over the next few months to better understand members' hopes and your enduring motivations for engaging in your unique vocations, with the purpose of asking if this task force is serving the purposes that it is intended to in our current landscape. Can it be more effective? What outcomes do the members want to see flourish?

Through March, 2020, Melissa and Beth will be inviting stories through 1:1 (one-on-one) conversations over coffee. We hope and trust that learning from you all will offer a community narrative that will help determine the direction of the task force in October, 2020, in preparation for when new leadership is voted in.
