I read this book almost overnight. The reader looks in on a group of women debating their course of action in the aftermath of shocking abuse. The author's use of insinuation, and the way the women talk around what has happened to them makes the events feel real, while allowing enough space for the reader to weigh difficult questions that apply to our own world. Artfully done. I will read this book again.
