Dear friends and patrons,
By the time you visit, we will have most renovations to the concert and gallery venue completed. We call this venue “The James Walker Art Space,” in honor of the visionary founder of our organization 48 years ago, the late Mr. James Walker.
2020 is looking to be an outstanding year for the IAC with an excellent lineup of performers, a tailored exhibition schedule, and other events and projects that will be announced as the time approaches. We continue to promote the arts through the NC Grassroots Grant Program, Regional Artist Grant Program, Open Mics and more.
We will have continued collaborations with The Iredell Museum, the City of Statesville Parks and Recreation Department, and other civic and commercial organizations.
You can be a part of this year’s success and growth in the arts by joining us as members through our new membership program.

programming and thank our sponsors.
Members will have the opportunity to purchase concert tickets. A raffle will be held, and light food and drinks served.

Our first exhibition of the year is by wildlife artist Amy Carter. She will be showing some of her outstanding taxidermy work at the James Walker Gallery. Please join us for the reception and meet the artist.

The James Walker Art Space is open to the public during exhibitions:
Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and by appointment

Looking for volunteer opportunities? The IAC seeks volunteers to provide gallery hours on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Contact mail@iredellartscouncil.org for more information.
