During the presentation of the Frik collection Museum in the Kunstmuseum Den Haag (formerly Gemeentemuseum), visitors were invited to take up their instruments and draw one of the FCCM’s pieces. By posting it to the FCCM they entered our drawing competition. From the 26 entries, this drawing was chosen. We are serious about the importance of drawing: download the Jury Rapport here
The winner, who lives in the Hague, was presented with her prize: the Remon Grass Dumpy Foot Dish 2017 made in Arita from glazed and decorated porcelain, museum inventory number FCCM_345. This little dish was on display in the 'Feet' cabinet. Her drawing is of the 'Robin's Nest Coat Pocket' inventory number FCCM_194.
