Please note below:
Eruv substitute checkers are urgently needed for Thursday January 23. If the eruv is not checked, it can not be relied on for this Shabbat, January 24-25. The eruv needs to be checked during daylight on these dates so that if repairs are needed they can be made the evening before Shabbat. Checking the entire eruv by car takes about 1 hour. It can be divided between multiple checkers. If you haven't checked before you need to be trained. Training takes about 1 hour plus and is available Monday (tomorrow) January 20, or early morning Tuesday, January 21 or Wednesday, January 22.
