Whistle Stop Tour 2020 - Entire Sleeping Car Reserved Just for Railfans

The booking window is now open to the public for the 2020 Virtual Railfan Whistle Stop Tour! We will have a private sleeping car just for the VRF crew and our viewers and fans. We will be taking the California Zephyr from Chicago to San Francisco and back. Round Trip tickets are being sold first, that window opens this morning (1/13/20) and closes on 1/31/20. On 2/1/20 one way and segmented trips will be sold. All sales for tickets will cease on 2/24/20.

The prices are for the room, based on double occupancy. For example, if two of you want to share a room you pay the room price, not per person!

Departure Date from Chicago: 8/15/20 with arrival in Emeryville on 8/17/20.
Departure Date from San Francisco: 8/19/20 with arrival in Chicago on 8/21/20.

LOCATION NEWS

Since the last newsletter, we've added Chehalis, Washington, Elkhart, Indiana, and Santa Fe Junction in Kansas City, Missouri - one of the busiest in the country! We have two PTZ cams there to catch all the action.

You can catch all of our new locations on our YouTube channel for now, or grab a membership on our website and never miss a train.

We're planning a PTZ in Flagstaff to replace the West cam. Both cameras will be moved down. Bye bye air conditioners!

We're also planning a third PTZ at one of our newest locations, Elkhart, Indiana. The camera will be at the station across the tracks from our current cams. It will be a spectacular view.
