JOHN BLY

Est.   ANTIQUES   1891

Dear Friends,
Happy New Year and welcome to the first Bounty of 2020!

We start the year with exciting news and the launch of our new lighting website:
www.johnblylighting.com
Here you will find a comprehensive inventory of period light fittings, including chandeliers and wall lights, along with a selection of reproduction lights which we offer. (
Below is a small selection, just click on the images for details.)
With full metal and glass workshops at our disposal we now offer a complete bespoke service, so if you have a model in mind or would like to design a fitting of any style, we would be delighted, and more than able to help and create it for you.

The image above shows Frank John Bly, James' Grandfather, and his sister Doris in the doorway of their Father's shop at No 22 High Street, Tring in 1908, (they used to dress little boys like that until they were breeched before the age of eight!) just two doors from where we are currently based.
If you find yourself in the borders of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire and would like to see our stock or discuss a project we may be able to help with, please do get in touch, we are not far away. Our sourcing consultancy continues to grow and we have supplied some stunning items to clients over the last couple of months so don't hesitate to send us your interiors shopping list!

Best Wishes,
John and James Bly
