Our first on-site hut build was awesome!
Sticking to our 'hut a week' schedule we got into the bush yesterday to build Kaitawa Hut on-site. We had a great time working the hazel rods into a nest inspired hut with helpers Olivia (a fine art graduate of Central Saint Martins in London) and Kemi's mother (and master weaver) Debbie.
It's been a full on time lately, working late each day without stopping, so instead of trying to write about the experience we wanted to share a visual story.
