Do not give up. I have better things ahead for you. Keep running the race. Keep your eyes on the prize. No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. Do not look back. Do not give in. Do not give up.
 
When you are tempted to give up because the promise I spoke into your life has not come to fruition, think about Abraham. Remember, how faithful Abraham was as he patiently waited many years for the birth of Isaac. I did not fail him, and I will not fail you. Your Isaac will indeed be birthed. Just, do not give up.
 
When the pressure is too much and you want to throw in the towel, remember Joseph. He was locked away waiting for his dream. How distant that dream became during his many years of bondage in Egypt. Joseph was locked away in prison, with no hope of release. I had a plan for Joseph, just like I have a plan for you.
 
The plan for your life continues to unfold, even if you cannot see it from the pit of your own prison. Nothing can stop it. Nothing can stop My hand, for I am the Lord. I have spoken it. It will come to pass, just do not give up.
 
I will never take my eyes off you. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. You must keep pressing your way. You cannot give up! I know you may feel a little uneasy, but you will not be shaken since I am strengthening you.
 
First, you will see with eyes of faith what I have for you, but you will soon see with your natural eyes. That is why you cannot give up. I say again, do not give up! You must continue to hold on. Do not give up. You can stumble, question, weep, scream, yell, even cry it out, but do not give up.
 

 

Psa. 30:5  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. 

Jer. 29:11  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 

Eze 12:25  For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. 

Luk. 9:62  And Jesus said to him, No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. 

Rom 4:18-21 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

2Co 4:7-8 Our bodies are made of clay, yet we have the treasure of the Good News in them. This shows that the superior power of this treasure belongs to God and doesn't come from us. In every way we're troubled, but we aren't crushed by our troubles. We're frustrated, but we don't give up. [GW]
