Resilient Neighborhoods Team - How to live a climate sustainable lifestyle

CLASS IS FULL
Thank you Sausalito Woman's Club and neighbors.

We wanted to share this wonderful news.
SWC’s partnership with Sausalito Library resulted in a team of 24 households.

"There is so much power in actions like lifestyle change because not only does it cut pollution, it also helps you to find your voice. If somebody just does it on their own, you think, what difference will it make? But if whole communities do it—if the entire population lived differently—it changes the system"  ― Mary Robinson, Climate Justice: Hope, Resilience, and the Fight for a Sustainable Future.

Women want to do the right things, and are learning the far-reaching impacts of thousands of small daily decisions on our community and our planet.

4-Hills Hike,
Thursday, January 30 - 9am

This is a moderate to strenuous hike of four lesser known hills in San Francisco: Mt. Sutro, Tank Hill, Mt. Olympus and Buena Vista.  We will cover a bit of the history and enjoy the views from each hill.  After the hike, we’ll enjoy lunch at a popular neighborhood restaurant. Meet and carpool from the SWC at 9am. RSVP: Helen Bennett or Carolyn Ford, by email or phone.

Compulsory Meeting Thursday, February 6 at 2:00PM

A friendly reminder that the SWC annual compulsory meeting is Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.  If you cannot attend this meeting, please notify Sela Seleska in writing or by email (selaseleska@gmail.com) of your absence.  There is a $20 fine for unexcused absences.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you!
