Join us in the next 30 days

Dear friends,

We are starting 2020 with a renewed call to be present in ways and places where we have been coming together for years. We are also excited to pilot some new ways to be in community with you and learn from each other.

Here are some moments in which we can gather in the next 30 days

2020 Strategy Call

Hop on a zoom call with us to talk about what we are hearing and seeing in the IMIrJ ecosystem for 2020.

Join the call on your computer using this link. Meeting ID: 336 382 208, Password: 322787. Or join by phone dialing +1 669 900 6833 and the same meeting ID.

RSVP to receive the recording of the call.
PDX Vigil

Please help us uplift and support those who are impacted by ICE detentions in Oregon this Thursday in front of the ICE building (4310 SW Macadam Ave., Portland, OR 97239).

This month's vigil is co-hosted with the Portland chapter of Doctors 4 Camp Closure (D4CC).

All are welcome to gather as we express our support and love for families affected by ICE detentions in Oregon.
Accompaniment Training

We have a few spots left for our accompaniment training this Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM! We decided to open the invitation to our wider community.

Our accompaniment program trains volunteers to physically accompany community members in Portland and Washington County to immigration court, ICE check-ins and courthouses. If you are interested, please fill out this application and email info@imirj.org letting us know. Please note that we give preference to bilingual and bicultural volunteers.
Huddle at the House

At our last quarterly gatherings, we heard how much people in Portland and Washington counties value the opportunity to connect monthly. We like to hang out with you too! So we are piloting a new monthly space to hear from a few congregations, ask questions to each other and be in community together.

Come huddle at the St. Michaels and All Angel's house the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 PM! The house is located next to the church at 1779 NE 43rd Ave.

Our time together will include hearing from congregations, asking questions of each other and hanging out IMIrJ staff. It will look different than our quarterly gatherings but don't worry, we'll still have snacks.
