Winnetka Police Officer, Josue Perez, is the Village’s Business Resource Liaison Officer. This newly created position is dedicated to business concerns, including traffic and parking issues; security assessments and crime reduction advice; providing education and resources on topical concerns; and provide merchant alerts when crimes occur.

Officer Perez would be pleased to meet with you to discuss any law-enforcement or security-related concerns you may have. Reach him to set up a time to meet by emailing him or calling 847-716-3414. In an emergency, though, please call 911!
Ribbon Cutting for Spirit Elephant, January 24
The ribbon cutting is set for Spirit Elephant on Friday, January 24 at 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at 924 Green Bay Road. Founder CD Young of Winnetka brings us the first full-based plant restaurant/bar on the North Shore with menus prepared by executive chefs Renan G. Lopes and Huntley See. Learn best practices about business leadership and communication from author Jack Modzelewski, founder and president of JackKnifePR, a business communications consulting firm in Chicago. He'll be in conversation with Roger Hochschild, the CEO of Discover, as they discuss Mr. Modzelewski's new book, Talk Is Chief: Leadership, Communication, and Credibility in a High-Stakes World.  The event takes place Thursday, February 6 from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. It is part of the ongoing series "The Book Stall Talks Business."
