This January and February, Pastor Neal is resuming our long-running sermon series on Faith and Film. This year's features include:
SPECIAL NOTE: Three of our films this year have been nominated for Best Picture at the academy awards (Little Women, Ford v. Ferrari, and Jojo Rabbit). ALSO--likely because of the best picture nomination, Jojo Rabbit is BACK in theaters (at Cielo Vista) for a limited time. See it while you can!

Our next all-church music rehearsal days are Saturday, February 8th from 2pm to 5pm (contemporary service) and Sunday, February 9th from Noon to 2pm (traditional service). If you are interested in singing with our choir, playing or singing with the praise band, performing a solo, or participating in any of our youth and children's music programs, please join us and share your gift! No prior experience or skill required, just a willingness to make a joyful noise to the Lord!

Our Annual Congregational Meeting will be on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 10:10am in the Robert Young Center. The purpose of the meeting is to give an update on the state of the church programs, finances and ministries. We'll also do a potluck brunch that day, during the meeting.

Calling all Scouts! This year, we will be observing Scout Sunday on February 23rd. All aspects of our 9am and 11am worship services will be led by cub scouts, boy scouts, and girl scouts. If you are a scout and would like to participate in Scout Sunday, please let Pastor Neal know.

Youth Group — Meets periodically Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the Youth Room upstairs (Room 202) for games, discussion, team-building exercises and fellowship led by adult volunteers, and for other events TBA. Grades 5-12 (also includes younger students who have completed confirmation classes).

Zumba Classes
Monday thru Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. in Room 204, led by Certified Zumba / Personal Trainer Luis Castro. Suggested donation of $5 per class. You'll be motivated to get up and get moving. Join us for a great, fun, cardio workout!

If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, come to a Faith & Grief Luncheon to be strengthened by food, inspiration, prayer and conversation with others who understand. People of all faiths are welcome. The Luncheon is on the second Wednesday each month, Noon – 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, in the Young Centre. There is no charge for the lunch; but please do make a reservation – and bring a friend! Donations are welcome.
