Gary Leung Siu Wai is competing in the Marathon des Sables, a 250 km 7-day race in the Sahara Desert, to fundraise for Hong Kong Unison. Gary will be the FIRST visually impaired runner in Asia to take part in Marathon des Sables.
The funds raised will be used towards effecting change in education policies, enhancing our Community Support Programme, and expanding our "Tertiary Education Scholarship Scheme for Ethnic Minority Students" to provide financial support and capacity building for ethnic minority youth in higher education.
