Lake Worth Beach -- In preparation for tomorrow's heavy swells and strong winds the City of Lake Worth Beach will be closing the pier at 2:30pm today, January 21^st. Once the inclement weather has subsided staff will assess for damage and reopen the pier when it is safe to do so. At this time staff anticipate the pier re-opening Friday the 24^th.
