Destination Asia!

With more than 50 semester, summer, and short term study abroad programs in Asia and dozens of students who participate in them yearly, Asia is a popular option for CWRU study abroad students!
Asia features comprehensive institutions such as the National University of Singapore, Hong Kong Polytechnic, Yonsei (South Korea) and Waseda (Japan) offering everything from engineering to business to the arts and sciences!
CWRU even offers short term programs to Japan and India via JAPN 235 to EECS 342i which are both going abroad in May, 2020 with application deadlines of January 24. The application deadline for the fall semester abroad at one of these institutions is March 1 (and February 1 for GE3 programs).
The Freeman-Asia Scholarship can fund up to $5,000 for a semester and up to $3,000 for a summer study abroad in Asia.
You can experience a taste of Asian culture this Friday when the CWRU community celebrates Lunar New Year in the Tink from 7 - 8 pm. Enjoy free food, music, giveaways and fireworks!
