Abiding Savior Lutheran Church

We're excited to invite you on a journey with us that leads to a deeper understanding of your relationship with God, His Church, and His purpose for you. This spring we are launching a new life-experience in our church called Rooted. It is a life changing experience for all who participate. It will help you move beyond superficial relationships experienced in this fractured, often isolating, and phony world to genuine relationships in a group grounded in listening, sometimes challenging, and always loving and caring for one another.

Abiding Savior members and school parents, Mike and Tricia, share the impact the Rooted experience had on their marriage and family (click on the video below).

An Announcement from our School

Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I wish to inform you that I am leaving my teaching position at Abiding Savior. I have received a call from Concordia University. After much prayer and consideration, I have decided to accept this call.  I will be leaving mid-February.  This was an extremely hard decision for me to make but I do feel this is the path God has chosen for me. I have seen his hand at work in this decision.

Abiding Savior has always been more than my vocation. It is my family and home. I am extremely grateful for the ten years I have been able to teach First Grade at Abiding Savior. I have been blessed to have been able to work alongside each and every one of you.  I am extremely grateful for my time here and the family I have made.  Each one of you holds a special place in my heart.

For the last thirteen years, I have put teaching and my students in the forefront of my life. Because of this I have decided to leave teaching at this time and take a position as an Academic Advisor so that I am able to focus on my family and children, while still be able to help others. This change was definitely unexpected but is a wonderful opportunity for me. While I am looking forward to this new adventure, I am grateful for the blessings you all have been at Abiding Savior.

Thank you for all your prayers and support as my family and I work through this transition. I am looking forward to continuing to see you on campus and at church.

God’s blessings,

Mrs. Stacy Kemp

Our first grade teacher, Mrs. Stacy Kemp has accepted a position at Concordia University, Irvine and will be leaving in February.  We thank Mrs. Kemp for her many years of dedicated service to Abiding Savior and pray for her continued blessing as she transitions to her new position at Concordia University.

Mrs. Deborah Amick, a qualified and experienced teacher for over 30 years will be our first grade teacher for the remainder of the school year.  We are excited to welcome her to our faculty.
