This Sunday, February 9, is Reformed University Fellowship - International Sunday at Oakwood. RUF-I pastor, Rev. Richard Smith, will be preaching in both services and also updating us on the ministry of RUF-I during the Sunday School hour in the sanctuary.

Men's Basketball Outing
February 8
Do you enjoy basketball, fellowship, food, or fun? If so, then this is the perfect event for you! We are getting a group of guys together to see the PSU vs. Minnesota men's basketball game on Saturday, February 8. Combined Worship Service

6:00 pm
Oakwood will come together with our fellow churches in the community, Grace and Resurrection Presbyterian, for a combined worship service on Sunday, February 16 at 6:00 pm at Resurrection OPC located at St. Peter's, 1795 W College Ave, State College. Rev. Ben Lee will be preaching.

Men's Breakfast
is Back!
Calling all Men! The first breakfast of the year is coming up soon on Saturday, February 29 at 8:00 am and what better way to celebrate leap day than enjoying food and fellowship with other men! Blood Drive

Have a Heart Fundraiser and Awareness Banquet

Centre County Orphan Care Alliance exists to make believers aware of the plight of the fatherless locally and globally and to motivate every believer to engage in their responsibility to care for the fatherless. The Have a Heart Fundraiser and Awareness Banquet will be held Tuesday, February 18 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. Those who attend the event will learn about the state of Orphan Care in our county and beyond, and how our community can get involved in supporting foster, adoptive and biological families. Meals Ministry
Would you like to touch someone's life in a very practical way? As people within our church body experience medical challenges or a death in the family, welcome new children, move to a new home, etc., the Meals Ministry team members show love and concern by taking them nourishing meals. We would be glad to have you join the team of those who make and deliver meals to others in the church! Please contact Terri Verlinde at 814-777-6709 or tcverlinde@gmail.com if you would like to be added as a member of the Meals Ministry team. Each time a need arises, an email message is sent to the people on the team, and those who are able to serve sign up to prepare and deliver meals. There is no limit to the number of people who can join the Meals Ministry team, and you only need to sign up to bring a meal when it is convenient for you. Thank you so much for considering becoming a part of this ministry!

Need to reserve space for your next Oakwood ministry meeting? Here's the info on how to make it happen...
- Contact Ann Johnstonbaugh at Maj03@hotmail.com to let her know your date, time and the ministry team that will be meeting. Ann will reply with availability and location for your meeting.
- One weeks notice is ideal as it would give the building team time to set the thermostats for your particular room location and make sure you have access to the building.
Would you like to request the use of Oakwood space for a non-Oakwood event?
- Contact Ann Johnstonbaugh at Maj03@hotmail.com to confirm date availability. If available, Ann will provide you with a building use application for you to fill out and submit to our Deacons for approval.
