This week’s Black History Month events include the ALANA Center’s kickoff celebration tonight with Jade T. Perry and a talk tomorrow by Nemata Blyden, “African Americans and Africa: Speaking Across the Centuries.” Other talks this week include Writer in Residence James Wood, artist Wendy Ewald, and political anthropologist Noah Coburn. Plus Modfest is in full swing this week with lots of exciting performances!
