Giving a charitable loan to Allah is more rewarding than giving a donation!!
Allah, the Exalted, calls us to give a loan, saying:
Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?
The following hadeeth highlights the reward of giving a loan:
عن أبي أمامة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (دخلَ رجلٌ الجنَّة، فرأَى على بابها مكتوباً: الصّدقةُ بعَشرِ أَمثالها، والقرض بثمانية عشر).( أخرجه الطبراني في المعجم الكبير، والبيهقي في الشعب وقد حسنه الشيخ الألباني).
Meaning: Abu Umamamh, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah praise him, said: ‘A man entered Jannah and saw written on its gate: ‘The reward of charity is multiplied by 10, whereas the reward of a charitable loan is multiplied by 18.’
quoted by Shiek Murad.
Alhamdulilaah, as you are aware our project is near completion and we are so excited to finally see it become a reality in shaa Allah. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed generously in the last few years. As project completion is approaching, we are on a dire need for good loans as we are short about $1.5M. This is what the shura and board decided before starting this phase with the consultation of our community and based on the funds available on hand at the time and the projected donation in Ramadan. So this is planned unless we receive any financial help outside of Fort McMurray in the next few weeks.
Please be assured that (in shaa Allah) we will keep enough funds to pay back those who need their money in a short notice as we did in the previous loan campaign.
Please fill out the good loan form, select anyone to be a witness and submit to president, any of our sheiookh or any board member who you are comfortable with to sign this contract. You may indicate the date when you believe you will most likely need you good loan back so we can manage our financial more effectively. In the event you wrote a certain date and you needed your money earlier; we will only need 2 days to give you back your loan.
I ask Allah aza wa jal to bless your health, your wealth and your family and reward you best for giving a loan to Allah.
"Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned." Al-Bakarah (245)
