As we come to the close of our 10th year as a platform for work and community engagement, a renewed sense of possibility and purpose washes over our hives.
We’re expanding (again!) in both Beacon and Albany. (And, as previously announced, we’ll be opening a hive in Newburgh later this year.)

Heather Abissi
Beacon member Heather M. Abissi, an attorney beginning her 14th year of practice, now has a practice focused on legal writing, editing, oral argument, trial support and strategy.
Her aim is to improve the work-life balance of local attorneys by allowing them to outsource time consuming motions, appeals, and legal research.
Heather's background includes serving as an executive assistant district attorney; attorney for criminal defense, civil rights, tort, family law, and matrimonial; and senior assistant corporation counsel for the City of New York.
