We're happy to announce that Mountain Bike Camp is back again for the 4th year and with more sessions available! Leadership Academy's Mountain Bike Camp is one of the only day camps in Nashville focusing on mountain biking and STEM concepts.
New for 2020: we’ve added an additional week of beginner and intermediate.
At Leadership Academy, we strive to protect our planet and the natural world by “leaving it better” than we found it. This is one of our core beliefs that has been built into all of our camp programs. We have had great success with practicing “leave no trace” principles whilst at camp in the summer. Now, we have decided it is time to take action all year long. With this in mind, we have created our “Leadership Academy Grounds Keepers” program. We have selected six campers and their families to take on the challenge of “leaving it better”. Look for a special email this month with profiles of the 2020 Grounds Keepers.
The Ground Keepers will:
Commit to visiting at least once a month: Nature Park, Trail hike, lake, river or waterway.
A 100% promise to "leave it better" and pick up & pack out trash whenever possible on your adventures.
Lead by example and inspire others to follow you and join the mission
Complete their mission by the end of November 2020.
You can join in supporting the Grounds Keepers by also commuting to “Leave It Better” on every hike, park visit, and outdoor playtime. Share your photos of litter pickup using hashtag #Groundskeepers
