Coffee & Donuts on Saturday mornings from 8:30-11:30 am are so good and support our Redondo Ballet. Another one takes place this Saturday!

Ballet Beyond Borders, a unique festival in Missoula, Montana drew 30 of our Dance 1/ Redondo Ballet dancers. Many international dancers competed as our dancers were introduced as representing USA. We were very proud of them, and their dancing made us proud too. Yes it did snow while we were in Montana, and all the Redondo folks were outside loving it! 
We also found our lead dancer for Snow Queen at BBB. Meet Jackson Rankin who will be playing Rudie, we are thrilled to have him! 

Project Needs Redondo , an on going food bank will be receiving the food collected at Dance 1.  This is a nealyr 30 year tradition for us and we so appreciate the Project Needs group for helping feed our community. We wait till after the holidays to contribute as the stores of supplies need replenishing at this time. Let's make it a year long commitment to help.

Dance 1 went on a  field trip to the magnificent Walt Disney Concert Hall.  On a first time adventure 30 Dance 1 dancers and parents went to Music 101 hosted by the LA Philharmonic and presented by KUSC's Alan Chapman.  It was a very informative and entertaining exploration of 20th century composers. This life enhancing experience was spearheaded for us by Nelly Swift, Melodie Cudanes, and Joanne Wijesundra, thank you very much. There will be announcements for future Music 101 events.  It is too good to miss.
