CLOC Announces New Appointment to Board of Directors

SAN JOSE, CA, January 31, 2020 -- The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) today announced the appointment of Jennifer McCarron, Director of Legal Operations and Technology at Netflix to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. 

“We are delighted to welcome Jenn McCarron to the board and look forward to the value her leadership will bring,” said Mary O’Carroll, CLOC President.  “Jenn has been an active and enthusiastic CLOC member and supporter and we are thrilled that she has agreed to help take CLOC to the next level. We appreciate her willingness to serve as a director and look forward to benefiting from her judgment and counsel.”

It is with much gratitude that the board is also announcing that founding CLOC Board Member Brian Hupp will step down from the board in order to take full advantage of his sabbatical time during 2020 while traveling and focusing on his artistic pursuits.  Brian has been an active leader within our community since the beginning and has been a valuable presence in taking the organization to the next level in growth. The Board sincerely thanks Brian for his leadership during his tenure with CLOC and wishes him the very best of luck in all his future endeavors.

Jennifer McCarron currently serves as Director of Legal Operations and Technology at Netflix. In her role she focuses on strategic financial management, technology and innovation, operations, and knowledge management for Netflix’s global legal function.

 Before joining Netflix in 2018, Jenn spearheaded legal technology at Spotify in New York where she instituted foundational technologies and processes for contract management, matter management, legal hold management and litigation pipelines. Prior to Spotify, Jenn was a technology program manager in Cisco’s legal operations and technology function, designing the knowledge and information management program and products. Jenn has been involved in CLOC since its inception and has led both the New York and Los Angeles-area geographic chapters.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration, a B.A. in Economics as well as a Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany.
