1st Saturday Bird Walk to the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt - Saturday, March 7th!
Join Chuck Aid for a walk along the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt, which loosely follows Clear Creek. In addition to the creek, there are open areas and wooded spots, so the variety of habitats should lead to a great morning of birding. Typical birds this time of year include a variety of dabbling and diving ducks as well as songbirds and raptors.
We will meet at the FRBC-Littleton store (10146 W. San Juan Way, Suite 110, Littleton, CO 80127) at 7:30am for our Birder’s Breakfast (featuring Birds & Beans “bird-friendly” certified coffee) and then depart via carpool to the Wheat Ridge Greenbelt at 8:00am. We will return to the store by 12:00pm.
Please call the store (303.979.2473) to sign up. Limit is 15 participants. Preference will fall to those meeting at the store but any open spots can go to folks wishing to meet at the site.
Be sure to dress in layers for the weather and bring binoculars, water, snacks or lunch, hat, and sunscreen.

Colorado Bluebird Project Program with Kevin Corwin Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30pm!
Bluebirds are a classic harbinger of spring in Colorado. It won't be too long before both Mountain and Western Bluebirds will be back ready to establish territories, pair up and make baby bluebirds! Join Kevin Corwin of the Colorado Bluebird Project and the North American Bluebird Society to learn about these beautiful birds on Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30pm at the Littleton store. Refreshments will be served! Space is limited, so please RSVP to 303.979.2473
