CLOC Announces New Appointment to Board of Directors

The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) has appointed Jennifer McCarron, Director of Legal Operations and Technology at Netflix, to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Following is a quick introduction to the newly appointed board member:

Jennifer McCarron currently serves as Director of Legal Operations and Technology at Netflix. In her role she focuses on strategic financial management, technology and innovation, operations, and knowledge management for Netflix’s global legal function.

Before joining Netflix in 2018, Jenn spearheaded legal technology at Spotify in New York where she instituted foundational technologies and processes for contract management, matter management, legal hold management and litigation pipelines. Prior to Spotify, Jenn was a technology program manager in Cisco’s legal operations and technology function, designing the knowledge and information management program and products. Jenn has been involved in CLOC since its inception and has led both the New York and Los Angeles-area geographic chapters.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration, a B.A. in Economics as well as a Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany.

Pursuant to the CLOC bylaws, each active member has the right to cast one vote in opposition to any new board member appointed by the CLOC board of directors, and members shall have the opportunity to reject any new director by a three-quarters vote. If your wish is to confirm the newly appointed directors, you need take no further action. In order to vote in opposition to any newly-elected director or directors, you must email your opposing vote with the names of the director(s) to which your vote applies, to bod@cloc.org, by or before the deadline on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 5pm Pacific time. Following the deadline, votes in opposition will be tallied and the results confirmed for the membership during the week of February 10, 2020. No votes will be accepted after the deadline.
