Dear ISL Families,
Please be advised that a home located at 501 Belleville (near the school) is dilapidated and may possibly fall. Neighbors have called and asked that we please advise parents to use extreme caution while walking by. To view more info. click here.
Just as a friendly reminder, we ask that you please bring your children to school on time daily. This means that they must be in their seat by 8:00am, Having your child arrive to school on time helps reduce classroom distractions and interruptions. For further info. regarding truancy, please review the attendance policy. Starting this month, we will have a party for the class with the best attendance! We hope to see you all here and on time.
On February 20th, we will have our annual Mardi Gras parade. Students will be lining up at 10:30am and rolling around 11:00am. Dismissal that day will be at 12:00pm. Aftercare will not be provided. A charge of $25 per student will be assessed to each child who hasn't been picked up by noon. Parents are welcome to take their children home after the parade.
Mardi Gras break will be from Feb. 21- 26th. All classes will resume on March, 2nd.
We are still looking for beads. If you have any that you would like to contribute, please bring the sorted beads to the front office.
