1st TAFISA Asian Sport for All Games 2022 to be held in Malaysia
An important step was taken on 10 February 2020 as, following their election by the TAFISA General Assembly in November 2019, the Malaysian Sports for All Council (MASFA), Sarawak Ministry for Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sport, and Sarawak Sports Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TAFISA and officially announced the hosting of the 1st TAFISA Asian Sport for All Games 2022 in Kuching City, Sarawak, Malaysia. | Read More...

DOSB Hosts New Year Reception in Frankfurt
For the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB)’s new year reception, TAFISA Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann and IOC Member (Rwanda) Felicite Rwemarika were invited to join the celebration hosted in Frankfurt’s famous “Imperial Hall”. The event was led by DOSB President Alfons Hörmann and highlighted the preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Following the celebration, Felicite Rwemarika visited the TAFISA Office to discuss the development of the Sport for All Movement in Rwanda.
Erasmus+ Sport Infoday / Erasmus+ Sport Project Coordinator’s Meeting
On the 30th January TAFISA attended the annual Erasmus+ Sport Infoday, hosted by the European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).
Then on the 31st January, TAFISA attended the Erasmus+ Sport Project Coordinator’s meeting which provided those who are leading projects commencing in 2020 with detailed information on administrative and financial aspects of the management of projects. Read More...
TAFISA Meets with Landessportbund Hessen
On 30 January, TAFISA Secretary General was invited by the Landessportbund Hessen in Frankfurt, Germany on the occasion of their Board Meeting. The meeting provided an opportunity to present the Workbook: "Respect in Sport and through Sport", which was financed by the Landessportbund Hessen under the leadership of President Dr. Rolf Müller.Read More...
4th Americas Best Practices Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA
On 13th and 14th December, TAFISA attended the 4th Americas Best Practices Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This event was jointly hosted by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Olympic Solidarity and Panam Sports. Attendees included leading figures from all 41 National Olympic Committees across the Americas as well as Ministries and sporting bodies. Read More...

On 28-29 January, the House of Sport in Brussels welcomed project partners to kick-off the FAIR+ project. Following the success of the Forum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport (FAIR) run from 2017-2019, and the publication of the Final Report, FAIR+ will run for the next three years (2020-2022).
