Katapult Business Programme

The Katapult programme is aimed at startups and founders to help them get the basics right. It's based on the learnings of over 20 years supporting early stage companies. This is an initiative of LEO DLR and the content is delivered by experts in their field.

Too often we see companies that have built their strategy on untested and unvalidated products or services. After going on the programme, participants will have a validated product or service and will understand the fundamentals of marketing, their business model, routes to market, finances, structure and how to build their product and have completed a final pitch.

It's essential that these steps are completed early in a start-up to provide the best opportunity for success and investment.
  • Programme Fee: €150
  • Time: Held across 10 Monday evenings 6pm - 9pm (starting 9th March 2020)
  • Location: Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan
We are now taking expressions of interest for this programme - this form will be used to assess eligibility and suitability for the Spring 2020 programme (deadline for completed forms: 4th March 2020).

Financial Management (Beginners) Workshop

(13th February 2020)

Many SME owners can find themselves running a business without any formal business qualification and subsequently lack the skills and confidence to make important business decisions. Good financial literacy is essential in any organisation and especially for SMEs that are looking to expand and compete in this increasingly complex commercial world.

Build the confidence to competently handle your business finances!

Business owners who are knowledgeable and understand their finances will be able to make informed decisions about the future of their business and prepare for any challenges or opportunities that may arise.

We're running a morning workshop on Thursday 13th February to equip and empower owner managers of businesses at beginners level, with a greater understanding of what their business numbers can really tell them.

The workshop will be split into two areas:

1. Financial management, budgeting and setting KPIs
2. Developing a costing model that can be used to price jobs

The workshop enables participants to become more informed and strategic across all business functions based on a greater level of awareness of the outcomes of every decision from a financial perspective.

Fee: €20
Time: 9.30am - 12.30pm; Thurs 13th Feb 2020
