No Gifts, this is not a birthday party.  I am just using my birthday to share what I do with everyone I know.
Some Wrap Per Inch Tools I recently finished.  Similar ones will be on the website, once I edit the pictures and write descriptions.  Each tool features rounded ends and concave separations between the measuring areas, providing a comfortable grip.  The idea is that you wrap the yarn you are measuring by rolling the tool (like winding a roll of paper) so that you don't change the twist.  Guide each wrap next to the previous one until the section is full.    You can choose to use the 1/2", 1", or 2" section for your measuring.  When you count your wraps in the 1" section the total is your wraps per inch or WPI.  When using the 1/2" section, for thin yarn, multiply by 2.  With the 2" section divide by 2, this is best for thick or irregular yarn.  To secure the end when you start wrapping you can use the notch or for thin yarn the hole on the opposite end, or just tie a knot in a section you are not using.   There is a guide notch, easier to see in the second picture, on each side of the section to make it easy to find the starting point.
I finished the "How-to_?" portion of the website, and made future updates easier.  The Niddy-Noddy video can now be viewed there, some of you may remember it from an early newsletter.  There is progress behind the scenes on more videos.  My goal is a new, nicely edited, video for the February newsletter.
