Roosevelt Bike Lanes Update
The trial period for bike lanes on Roosevelt between First and Seventh Avenues ended January 14. Phoenix's Street Transportation department will compile the public input and review the data collected; results will be announced in February. The temporary lanes will remain in place until then.

Grand Canalscape Celebration
Saturday, February 15 at 10 AM, visit the city’s newest and grandest amenity. The Grand Canalscape is a paved 12-mile multi-use trail through Central Phoenix. Join friends and neighbors and meander along the canal between 9th Avenue and 7th Street. Everyone's welcome!

Webinar Stars Bike Heroes
Our friends at Valley Metro are featuring Rusty Spoke, Bicycle Saviours, Trips for Kids, and our own bike valet in a Wednesday, February 26, 10 AM webinar. Free, open to all, smartphone accessible. Check it out!

Second Saturday Ride
Join us at Bicycle Nomad Cafe the second Saturday morning every month. Gather at 8 AM, roll around 9 for 15 - 18 casual miles. February's fine in Phoenix! Don't miss it. Check our Facebook page for route info.

Bike Valet Opportunities
Join our bicycle valet team to make new friends and earn perks. Help out at the Strong Beer Festival Saturday, February 8 or the Coronado Home Tour on Sunday the 23rd. Shifts as short as 90 minutes. Volunteers get free admission!

Looking Ahead
It's never too early to talk about money. Phoenix's annual budget process starts this month, and critical public hearings will be in April. Make plans now to speak up for safer bike facilities.
