Dear members of the Berklee community,

Yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the new coronavirus outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. While nothing has changed in Boston or at Berklee, there are several updates to which we would like to call your attention. Please visit berklee.edu/alerts for travel advice to and from China, and for information related to on-campus events.

As this situation is rapidly evolving, all students, faculty, and staff should continue to visit berklee.edu/alerts for updates, FAQs, and information for the Berklee community. Berklee is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation in coordination with our partners at Tufts Medical Center. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the WHO remain the most credible sources of information.

Staff at Berklee are not qualified to provide medical advice to individuals, but we can offer referrals. Students should seek medical advice from Tufts Medical Center, and faculty and staff should consult with their own medical providers.

Please watch for further updates in Faculty/Staff News and Student News.
