Wines of the West - 25th & 26th January

The number of wineries were reduced from last year but sales were the best ever! This is a fantastic result given the difficult business climate we currently find ourselves in - and it appeared that many locals were keen to support this local event which was great to see.

The degustation dinner on the Friday night (featuring wines from Mansfield & Megalong Creek Wines) encouraged people to come along & spend.

Many thanks to Christine Killinger for organising the volunteers who once again looked very sharp in their pink aprons!

'Meet me at the Blue Mountains'

With our small businesses taking such big hit over the last few months, Michael Sperling (BMATA), Mark Jarvis (KCCC), Jo Bromilow (Mountains Combined Chambers & Community) and Sarah Richards (creator of the #BackToBilpin campaign) have come up with the 'Meet me at the Blue Mountains' idea - where you can promote your business and our beautiful area via the Instagram and Facebook pages - with the aim of encouraging people to visit and spend money.

So tell everyone to #MeetMeAtTheBlueMtns!
... where the air is fresh, the views are breathtaking, the food is superb, the shops are unique and the accommodation options are endless.

Scenic World

Thanks to the incredible efforts of the NSW Rural Fire Service and NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, Scenic World were unaffected by bushfires and remain open - with the Scenic Railway, Cableway, Skyway and Walkway all operating as normal. Guests can disembark in the valley and enjoy a 10-minute walk along the Scenic Walkway. Skyway East Station is currently closed.
