Rugs was rescued by Red Collar Rescue on 11-8-19. She was injured with a severely ruptured Achilles tendon. Rugs underwent surgery and 3 months of rehabilitation.
Yesterday, Saturday, 2-1-20, Rugs was adopted into a new home. The address of the home is 4806 Palmetto Street, Bellaire, Texas 77401. This is near the intersection of Bissonnet and S. Rice. The new mom had Rugs on a leash out in her front yard around midnight. Rugs is very scared. She got away from her new mom, and ran down the street and has not been seen since. As she is in a new environment, she does not know her way home.
Rugs is a grayish color Poodle mix, about 3 years old and 14 lbs. She had on her red collar and tag and was dragging a red slip lead when she went missing. Rugs is also microchipped. She is still limping on her right rear leg.
